F.I.S.P. - Palmela Internacional Saxophone Festival

With first edition in 2005, FISP is a International Saxophone Festival that already made lovers and followers in the entire world. The persistent crossing between the pedagogy and the performance make this festival unique, a great opportunity to learn and share about music and the saxophone. Assuming itself as a service public service, this festival offers more than 20 concerts, masterclasses, workshops, lectures, the “Vitor Santos” International Saxophone Competition, clinics… Among the principal Portuguese saxophone protagonists, this festival has brought some of the most important international musicians of the actuality, having brought thousands of saxophone lovers and students in the last 12 years.

As some of our international guests said before, FISP is a unique artistic experience, that can’t be missed! FISP – Festival Internacional de Saxofone de Palmela is organized Artemsax, Sociedade Filarmónica Humanitária, Conservatório Regional de Palmela, with the artistic direction of João Pedro Silva. The organization is composed of a wide and multidisciplinary team working exclusively on a voluntary basis.
